Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co is celebrating a double success in this year's eprivateclient 'Top 35 Under 35' list. Associates Alistair Robertson and Katie Coles from the firm's award-winning private capital practice were named among this year's rising stars.
The listing recognises their achievements in supporting and promoting business in the private capital market. Anthony Thompson, partner and leader of the private capital practice, said: "Alistair and Katie have secured their place in this prestigious list against a strong field. Their success is well-deserved and a testament to the quality of work and dedication of our international private capital practice."
Both Katie and Alistair trained with Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, qualifying into the private capital team in 2011. Alistair deals with all aspects of international wealth and succession planning, family governance matters and the UK tax implications of coming to and investing in the UK. Alistair has particular expertise in putting in place structures that deal with the succession of large family businesses.
Katie, who was also awarded in eprivateclient's 2013 list, has developed a strong expertise in working with Latin American and Asian clients, especially in the areas of international succession planning and immigration. She also handles a wide range of UK matters, such as court of protection issues and estate administration.
Alistair and Katie jointly head up the firm's London High Net Worth Immigration team, which assists a large number of Investor Visa clients from all over the world.
The 'Top 35 Under 35' initiative is run by website and news service eprivateclient and is designed to identify, recognise, promote and introduce upcoming individuals in the private client practitioner community. Conducted through a rigorous nomination and judging process, the results draw together the very best talent among the private client advisory profession – from lawyers to accountants and trustees.
